KASS GREENBERG, americorp vista

Kass Greenberg began his AmeriCorps VISTA term with Full Circle Communities in September 2026. Over the next year, he’ll be working to make sure residents don’t just have a roof, but that they have the support they need to keep it. Over his term, he’ll be identifying gaps in services and building systems that catch people before they fall through the cracks.

Kass comes to this work with over five years of legal and administrative experience. As a paralegal at Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, he helped lead a community coalition fighting for Right to Counsel in evictions and secured a spot for his team in the first Results for America: RTC Sprint. He presented at the Imagining Community Symposium in both 2022 and 2023 on eviction prevention and housing stability. Most recently, at the Center for Conflict Resolution, he connected clients to legal aid and became a certified community mediator.

But his commitment to this work isn’t just professional. For over a decade, Kass lived with a misdiagnosis that left him in a wheelchair and taught him exactly how invisible people can become when systems aren’t built to see their lives and the problems in them. He knows what it’s like to be overlooked, dismissed, and left to navigate gaps that shouldn’t exist. Today, he walks freely and brings that perspective directly into his work: designing systems that actually see the people they’re meant to serve, and making sure no resident has to fight alone for the stability they need to thrive.
