NICK BRUNICK, director

Nick is a partner at Applegate & Thorne-Thomsen, P.C., a law firm that works exclusively on affordable housing and community development efforts. He represents developers who use a using a variety of financing sources to build or rehab affordable or mixed-income housing or to create schools, health centers, grocery stores, early childhood centers, manufacturing facilities, or other enterprises or institutions that are needed for healthy and competitive communities. He also represents lenders who are bringing capital to underserved communities, creating innovative loan funds, and providing financing for affordable housing and small businesses.

Nick serves on a number of civic and non-profit boards including BPI, CIC, the Illinois Housing Council, and United Power for Action and Justice. He lives in Oak Park with his wife, Katie, and four children.
