CARLOS COLLINS, mission impact specialist

Carlos Collins serves as Full Circle Communities’ Mission Impact Specialist, where he is a vital contributor to advancing the organization’s mission-driven initiatives across all phases of development and operations. Since joining Full Circle in 2021, he has played a pivotal supportive role in strengthening meaningful partnerships with external service providers and residents, advancing data-collection practices, and advocating for resident-centered policies.

Carlos brings over three years of professional and lived experience within affordable housing. Prior to joining Full Circle, he gained valuable experience working with various non-profit organizations, providing direct exposure to both the clinical and administrative realms of social work. His experience with housing case management and data analysis, for example, has been instrumental in preparing him to aid in the progression of access to services and fair housing for vulnerable populations.

He earned his master’s degree in social work, policy, and practice from the University of Chicago, with a concentration in clinical social work and a focus on family systems and theories. He holds an additional certification in trauma-informed care and a B.A. in sociology from Eastern Illinois University.
