JANET LI, vice president

Janet Li serves as Full Circle Communities’ Vice President of Mission Impact, where she leads the organization’s strategy on integrating and funding resident-centered services across all phases of development and operations. Since joining Full Circle in 2019, she has played a critical role in advancing best practices in service provision, strengthening provider partnerships, and overseeing data-driven service planning and delivery. She also serves as the treasurer of the Full Circle Community Housing Development Organization of Michigan. 

Janet brings 15 years of experience in service programs and resident engagement in affordable housing.  Prior to joining Full Circle, she worked at the Chicago Housing Authority as a Resident Engagement Specialist, supporting integration and community-building efforts in mixed-income developments that arose under the Plan for Transformation. She was also a research assistant at the University of Chicago’s Mixed-Income Development Study and completed her practicum at HUD’s Department of Community Planning and Development.

She is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) and holds an M.A. in Social Work, Policy, and Social Practice from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Barnard College.
